The status of CS2 skins cannot change.<\/strong> The assumption that the condition of a skin deteriorates with playing time is incorrect. Skins will always retain the state assigned to them when they are created by pulling them out of a crate or through a trade-up contract.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How the states work in detail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When creating the skin, the skin is given a Float Value<\/span><\/strong><\/a> assigned. This value then determines the wear status of the skin, 0 would be completely without wear and tear and 1 with a lot of scratches and other signs of wear and tear. Depending on the float value, the Status of the skin<\/span><\/strong><\/a> as can be seen in the following image:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So you can rest assured and continue playing your skins. They will not change their state unless you have a StatTrak Counter<\/span><\/strong><\/a>will of course count up.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
