There are many browser extensions that make life easier for CS2 traders. They all offer a quick overview of the most important skin attributes, but which browser extension is the best? We have tested the three biggest CS2 browser extensions to tell you exactly which extension is best for you.

CS2 Trader - Steam Trading Enhancer

The first browser extension on our list is "CS2 Trader - Steam Trading Enhancer", formerly also known as "CSGO Trader". With over 200,000 users, the open source extension is one of the largest and most feature-rich extensions available for CS2 skins.

In addition to the usual features such as float and price display, CS2 Trader offers the function of calculating the value of the entire inventory. In addition, the skins are highlighted in color so that you can quickly get an overview of the different degrees of rarity of the skins. Special skins such as Ruby's or Fade's are also included in CS2 Trader. The extension recognizes special skins, highlights them and provides further information such as the Phase of a Doppler or the Fade percentages of a fade skin to.

CSFloat Market Checker

The next CS2 browser extension we will look at is "CSFloat Market Checker". With 500,000 users, it is around twice as large as CS2 Trader, which is largely due to the CSFloat platform behind the extension.

In addition to the usual skin information, the extension also helps with trading on CSFloat. However, this is by no means a bad thing and the expansion does not have to be used to trade on CSFloat, but can be used in the Steam inventory as normal, just like the other expansions.

In addition to its marketplace and trading opportunities, CSFloat also offers one of the largest databases for CS2 skins. With the browser extension you can be forwarded directly to the database and find important information about skins.

The CSFloat Market Checker browser extension displays the usual information such as the Float value also provides some further information on skins. Thanks to the CSFloat database, the extension can display how good the float value is and whether the skin is one of the best of its kind. This extension also pays attention to special skins and displays information about them directly.

Unfortunately, this extension is not as beautifully colored as the CS2 Trader extension. The CSFloat extension is rather plain, which means that special skins can sometimes be easily overlooked. Another shortcoming is that it lacks a feature (which the other two extensions have) that shows how often a particular skin is present in the user's inventory.

Steam Inventory Helper

The Steam Inventory Helper expansion is the best known of the three expansions. With over 1 million users, the expansion has been widely used in the Counter Strike scene for years.

The browser extension shines with good color coding and highlights rare and special skins in particular. The Steam Inventory Helper extension can also indicate the rank of a skin's float value and how often a skin is available in the inventory being viewed.

One negative aspect is that this extension does not display information on more specific values of skins, such as the fade percentage.

Summary - The best CS2 browser extension

Our clear winner is the "CS2 Trader - Steam Trading Enhancer" extension. It offers the widest range of functions and information in a clear and concise manner. All the information a CS2 trader needs about skins can be seen at a glance.

In our opinion, the only thing missing from the CS2 Trader extension is a display showing the placement of the float value of a skin.
