In CS2 you no longer get drops at the end of games, instead Valve has introduced a new reward system. The player can receive a "Weekly Supply Pack" by leveling up. This includes a random weapon skin, a random weapon crate and two random graffiti.
How to get item drops in CS2
Through the Leveling up the profile level in CS2 you can use the weekly care package unlock. As the name suggests, you can get this once a week. This means that for the first level up of the week you get the supply package, for each further level up in the same week you no longer receive a reward.
Once you have activated the weekly care package, you can Select 2 of 4 rewards. There is always a random weapon skin, a random weapon box and two random graffiti to choose from. As soon as you have chosen 2 of the rewards and confirmed your selection, you will receive them in your CS2 inventory.

What is most worthwhile with the supply package in CS2
In most cases, it makes the most sense to choose the weapon box and the weapon skin, as they are almost always worth the most. The graffiti is almost always only worth €0.03 and is not worth choosing.
As everywhere, there are also exceptions here, sometimes (but very rarely) there is also graffiti that is worth more than the skin or the crate. In this case, it is of course worth taking the graffiti.
So it always makes sense to have a quick look at which of the four available rewards are worth the most and then choose the right rewards on this basis.
Which crates can be dropped in CS2? (Weekly supply package)
One weapon crate is always guaranteed in the weekly supply package. The selection of weapon crates that can be dropped in the supply package changes over time. The following table lists all weapon crates that are in the active drop pool:

Recoil Case (weapon case "recoil") | 0,25 € |
Dreams & Nightmares Case (Dreams & Nightmares weapon case) | 0,90 € |
Snakebite Case (weapon case "snakebite") | 0,25 € |
Fracture Case ("Breakthrough" weapon case) | 0,50 € |
In addition to the weapon crates from the active drop pool, there is also a probability of 1% that you have a rare crate in your supply package to choose from. This includes the following weapon crates:
- CS20 Case (weapon case "CS20")

The most expensive skin you can get in the supply package (Most expensive drop in CS2)
The most expensive weapon skin that can currently be included in the weekly supply package is the "SG 553 | Integral" in the Condition brand new. It has a market price of around 150 € on the Steam marketplace.

Comparison to the old CS:GO drop system
The old drop system has been replaced by the weekly reward system with the supply package. The old CS:GO system had some disadvantages in direct comparison to the new system. In CS2 the rewards are distributed more fairly and every active player is guaranteed one weapon crate per week, in CS:GO this was not the case, there it was pure luck when and if you got a weapon crate dropped.
Leveling is also relatively quick in CS2, which is why it is not a big problem for casual players to level up in order to unlock the supply package.
